UW Husky Stadium
Seattle, WA
Perched above Seattle’s Union Bay, Husky Stadium is one of the oldest collegiate football venues in the nation. This 2011-2013 renovation totaling $250 million provides the new south grandstand, new west entry face, new premium ticket products, improved football operations building, integrated covered parking, new sports medicine clinic, improved circulation and entry access, and new east stadium bowl. Wright Runstad & Company, Turner Construction, and 360 Architecture teamed together to deliver the stadium at a lower cost than planned. All funding is being financed through the University of Washington’s internal lending program and private donations, for no public money is being used for the stadium renovation.
